IPA’s
Charlie Lanza’s Life in the Gutter NEIPA ABV: 6% IBU: 30
A New England IPA brewed especially for Charlie Lanza’s Lakewood Lanes, located in Waterbury. Poured exclusively at Lakewood Lanes or Brass Works Brewing Co.
Filthy Bird NEIIPA ABV: 8.7% IBU: 82
Our double IPA is generously dry hopped with Simcoe and Strata hops to bring out the fruity aroma while balanced with malt for a full flavored double IPA.
Fowl’d Up NEIPA ABV: 6.1% IBU: 25
The "Fowl'D Up is New England Style IPA that incorporates six different malts and six different hops. The beer is dry-hopped with generous amounts of Citra hops to give our NEIPA a distinctively “juicy” flavor.
Mango Habanero NEIPA ABV: 6.1% IBU: 25
This New England IPA incorporates many different malts and hops. Mango and habanero are added post fermentation to complement the "juicy" hops with sweetness upfront and a spicy kick at the end.
Lagers
Birra Italiana Lager ABV: 4.6% IBU: 22
Our Birra Italiana is brewed in the traditional Italian style. This crisp, light beer is full in flavor and is a great option for any time of the year, but can especially refreshing in those warmer days. (glueten removed)
Brass Works Oktoberfest ABV: 5.3% IBU: 27
It is claimed that the first Oktoberfest was in 1810 to celebrate the wedding of Prince Louis of Bavaria. When they decided to repeat the festival the following year, it then became an annual tradition. We have brewed our Oktoberfest to create that classic Munich-style taste. It is brewed with large amounts of Munich malts and German pilsner malts to give a hearty flavor and amber color. You will enjoy the maltiness in this seasonal beer.
Naugy Light ABV: 4.6% IBU: 27
Brewed along the Naugatuck River area, our Naugy Light is a crisp, refreshing American style light lager. It is flavored with Willamette hops to give it a clean floral finish. This beer has also been "crafted to remove gluten" and is lower in calories, making it the perfect beer for any occasion. (gluten removed)
Pumpkin Lager ABV: 5.3% IBU: 27 (off on tap, can pours only)
Brass Works Pumpkin Lager is perfect for the autumn season. This beer has a malty backbone, combined with pumpkin and fall spices, to create a balanced flavored beer. Enjoy our version of this fall classic.
Ales
Blood Orange Farmhouse ABV: 7.0% IBU: 38
Our farmhouse is a saison beer brewed with orange peels, ginger, and blood orange that has a crisp, dry finish. The truly unique saison flavor comes from not only the blood orange juice added to the tank, but also from the Belgian yeast that we use during the fermentation process.
Sasso’s American Boxer Ale ABV: 5.4% IBU: 26
This full bodied amber ale is dedicated to Robert Sasso. Robert, a Prospect, CT native, started boxing at the age of 17 in 1951 and rose to the professional ranks by his early 20’s. This New England boxer embodied the American Spirit. His hard work and dedication followed him in his post boxing career and in his love for his family. Cheers to Robert and all the great men and women of his generation!
Summer School Wheat Ale ABV: 5.0% IBU: 27
This seasonal beer is a very refreshing choice for the warmer weather. It has a somewhat hazy appearance and a citrusy flavor that is sure to satisfy your summer thirst. The additions of pale malt and Munich malt give it a medium body, which balanced with its high carbonation and Cascade finish, create a very well-rounded beer. Once you have tried it, you will want to stay back and repeat this one all summer
Porters
Abel Porter ABV: 5.5% IBU: 31
Abel Porter was a veteran of the Revolutionary War, and one the original brass makers in Waterbury. There is no better tribute than to have a beer named in his honor. The chocolate malt and roasted barley create a full-bodied beer. Our porter is a nice balance between malt, roasted, and hop flavor. The additions of vanilla and bourbon barrel oak make the Abel Porter our favorite beer.

This full-bodied Cab is refined and well balanced. Aromas of fresh earth, black currents and cranberry tempt as two years of barrel aging frame the structure and fruit on this approachable Cab. Light toasty oak nuances and dusty tannins leave the palate clean and ready for another sip.
Stone Table White
Lush, silky bartlett pear aromas lead with a back bone of CT Chard and toasty oak. Fresh and tight citrus flavors keep the wine centered.

One of our “easy drinking” Ales; a very refreshing beer for any season. It has a light color and has mild hop with fruity flavor. The blueberry additions give a pleasant berry kick.
Hazelnut Brown Ale ABV: 5.3% IBU: tbd

Olde #2 Brown Ale ABV: 4.9% IBU: 30
Our Brown Ale is a full-bodied version of an English-style Brown. The addition of flaked barley brings out the hearty flavor, yet it maintains just the right balance of malt-rich flavor and bitterness. Olde #2 is bittered with Northern Brewer, and then is flavored and finished with a combination of classic British hops, which contribute to its English style. The name obviously comes from the extreme immaturity of the brewers.
Pilgrim Pie Farmhouse Ale ABV: 7.0% IBU: 38
Farmhouse Ales are unique beers that have skyrocketed in popularity over the past few years. They are blending of various types of malts, hops, and additives. Our farmhouse has a crisp, dry finish with slight tones of ginger and orange peel. The truly unique flavor comes from the Belgian yeast that is used during fermentation, creating desired “off flavors” that make this beer special.
Pine Hole Pale Ale ABV: 5.9% IBU: 37
This beer is a great balance between hopiness and refreshing flavor. It is a slightly modified, milder version of our IPA. We “hop burst” this beer with Cascade and Chinook hops grown in Morris, Connecticut to contribute a pleasant citrusy note that complements the piney flavor.

Summer Shandy ABV: 5.0% IBU: 27
Sweaty Sisters Blonde Ale ABV: 5.5% IBU: 30
Our Blonde Ale is a very drinkable beer for any season. It has a light color and has mild hop flavor. The Crystal hop additions give a pleasant citrusy taste to the Blonde Ale. In addition, ale yeast and lager yeast are both used during the fermentation process, creating a very clean finish. This very refreshing beer can even keep the sweaty sisters satisfied when they work up a thirst. (Gluten Removed)

Wee Windy English Ale ABV: 4.8% IBU: 33
Our English Ale is an excellent choice for a session beer. It is extremely drinkable due to its lower alcohol level and its mild bitterness, without the strong hoppy flavor and aroma. A combination of British hops is used to bitter this beer, keeping with the old English ale style. It is our attempt to re-create typical ales served in the pubs of Great Britain.
IPA’s
Brass Nail Session NEIPA ABV: 4.9% IBU: 15
This beer combines the haziness of a New England IPA with the drinkability of a session beer. The Brass Nail is made with a variety of hops, including Citra and Samba hops, which contribute to its refreshing taste. Don’t let the lower IBU’s fool you. This beer is rich in hop flavor.
Doc’s Session IPA ABV:% 5% IBU:
This Session IPA is a special collaboration between Doc’s Motorcycle Parts and Brass Works Brewing Company. It is a celebration of Doc’s many years of excellent service to the people of the Waterbury area. Located at 1625 Thomaston Avenue. Doc’s was originally established back in 1969 to meet the ever-changing demands of the motorcycle owner. Like us, Doc’s understands the importance of having strong ties to the Waterbury community, and strives for only the best in quality and customer service. Enjoy this refreshing beer after cruising around on your bike.
Double Bird IPA ABV: 7.7% IBU: 82
Our IPA’s name is in honor of the Double Bird Brewing Club that we established several years ago. The citrusy flavor and aroma comes from the characteristics of the four different hops utilized in this beer. The Amarillo hops at the end really bring out its greatness.
Orange Ginger NEIPA ABV: 6% IBU: 30
A New England IPA with Orange Peel and Fresh Ginger added for a robust flavor.

Ausgeflippt Vienna-Style Lager ABV: 5.2% IBU: 25
Our Vienna Lager is an amber lager brewed with generous amounts of Vienna malt. These contribute to a malty aroma and a slight sweetness. The addition of noble hops creates a well-balanced flavor.
Brass City Bistro Lager ABV: 4.6% IBU: 22
This international lager was brewed special for Brass City Bistro, right here in Waterbury. It’s light, crisp taste is perfect any time of year, and can be especially refreshing on those hot summer days.
Edison Light ABV 4.6% IBU 17 128 Calories
In conjuction with The Edison Grill, we crafted an easy to drink light beer with flavor. It is a light and refreshing lager flavored with Willamette hops to give it a clean floral finish. This beer has also been "crafted to remove gluten" and has only 128 calories, making it the perfect beer for any occasion. (Gluten Removed)

Brewed along old Rt. 8, our version of a light Munich-style lager is straw colored and light bodied. It is brewed with German malts and noble hops to create a smooth finish.

In conjunction with the AOH we have produced a special Stout beer called "The Piper" in honor of the Piper Spirit.. rich in heritage, strong in heart, dedicated to their community and their neighbors. They share their music to lift up spirits and inspire friendship. The Police Pipes and Drums of Waterbury provided the inspiration and one of their fine musicians is on label. The AOH will have this beer available starting March 6th for the Food Drive event. Profits of sales at the AOH and Brass Works in Waterbury will go to AOH charities. Our stout is modeled after a traditional Irish dry stout. Healthy additions of flaked and roasted barley give this beer a classic stout flavor. Although it is dark in appearance, our stout is incredibly smooth to drink.

We serve this beer on nitrogen to bring out its rich, creamy flavor.
